Car rental terms

DRIVER’S AGE AND DOCUMENTS
For categories A, B, C, D – the driver’s age must be over 21 years old and a driver’s license must be at least 2 years old.
The maximum driver’s age is 73 years.
The driving license must be issued by the European Union or an International Driving Permit (IDP).

RENTAL CAR RATES INCLUDES
– C.D.W. Insurance
– Car mileage limit: Unlimited
– 24/7 Support
– VAT 24%
–  24/7 Pick up and return a car. A fee of €20 will be charged for car deliveries outside the hours of 01:00 - 5:30
– Free Second Driver
– Free baby seat

GENERAL TERMS
– At rental pick-up no credit card deposit is required
– Loss of Car Key – 100 euros penalty
– In case of cancellation, customers must notify at least 48 hours in advance
– Replacement of the car in case of breakdown
– Transporting and driving the car outside the Greece is not allowed
The transport of vehicles by water is prohibited

– The minimum car rental period – 1 day.
Minimum car rental period in Chania, Ierapetra region - 5 days
– In case of unforeseen circumstances (scheduled service, breakdown, simultaneous booking), we reserve the right to issue a similar car to the booked one, while maintaining the price of the car you have chosen.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS AND COSTS
The cost is calculated subject to the delivery and return of the car in the same place.
Also the return can be at any place convenient for you by prior arrangement.
Book Now – Pay Later. Payment upon arrival by cash or credit card (at receipt of the rental car).
All major credit cards accepted. (VISA, MASTER CARD, e.t.c.).

INSURANCE POLICY
1. C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver)
If you involve an accident without your fault, everything is covered.
If you involve to an accident with your fault you pay maximum for damage to the car up to the amount of the excess:
• for Car – maximum charge 600€
2. S.C.D.W Super Collision Damage Waiver
is an optional insurance add-on for rental cars that further reduces or eliminates the renter's financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle, beyond what's covered by the standard CDW (Collision Damage Waiver). The cost of this insurance is 10 euros per day

THE INSURANCE DOESN’T COVER IN THE FOLLOWING CASES
1. Driving under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs
2. Traffic code violation
3. RED Light or STOP sign violation
4. Driving OFF ROAD (Balos)
5. Damage to the underparts of the car
6. Traffic police tickets
7. Damage to the interior of the vehicle, namely:
Cigarette burns, seat damage, damage from pets, damage to interior equipment due to improper use, excessive interior contamination such as: stains on seats, seawater, salt contamination of seats, heavy contamination of plastic interior parts, excessive sand contamination. Fees will be charged depending on the extent of damage or contamination
8. Smoking inside the car is prohibited and a fine of €70 may be imposed.

In case of an accident or any damage of the car you must stop the vehicle immediately and contract out office by the phone number shown in the contract.
FUEL POLICY
• Cars are returned with the same fuel level as when delivered.
